Our Worship Services

Our hope and aim is that we worship and organize ourselves in the same way that God has laid out in His word and the example we see from the first century church in the book of Acts (Acts 2:42). On the First day of the week we gather for worship where our goal is to praise and draw closer to God by worshiping Him in the way we see laid out in the Bible. Our worship consists of five different acts.

  • Prayer, where we go before God and thank Him for what He has done for us, and petition Him with requests that we have (1 Timothy 2:8).
  • A cappella singing, where we sing Praises to God and build up each other with the words we sing (Colossians 3:16).
  • The Lords supper where we remember the death, burial and resurrection of Christ by partaking of the unleavened bread that represents the body of Christ and the fruit of the vine that represents His blood (1 Corinthians 11:23-29).
  • The members of the congregation also take up a collection. It is a giving that is to be done willingly. This is how we are supported, how we can afford to keep the doors open and do any works that we do as a congregation (1 Corinthians 16:1-2).
  • Lastly we have a sermon that is preached from Gods word. The goal of this is for us to learn and be challenged to go and do the things that God has commanded us. At the end of the sermon there will be an invitation where one can come and ask to be baptized, Repent of sins, or ask for prayers (Acts 5:42).

Also, on Sunday before worship and Wednesday evening we have a Bible study. In this, we try to learn more about God and the things that He has told us by studying His word. At this time there will be classes for children as well as an Adult class. Our goal is that if you join us you will feel welcomed and comfortable and that everything we do is Biblically based. We hope that we can see you soon!
