In short we believe the Bible. We understand that it is Gods inspired word (2 Timothy 3:16). We believe that the Bible contains all that we need to know about God, His commandments for us, and how we gain salvation (2 Peter 1:3). We know that God is real, and that He is all knowing, all powerful, and eternal. He is the creator of everything (Genesis 1:1).
We believe that Jesus Christ truly is the son of God (Matthew 3:17). God and Christ love us and because of that love Christ was willing to go to the cross (John 3:16). From the Bible we learn that the blood of Christ that was shed on the cross has the power to save all mankind from their sins (1 John 1:7).
We believe that all mankind has sinned and that they are separated from God and his
grace by that sin (Romans 3:23). However, we understand that it is the desire of God that we will not be lost in our sins, but that we would be saved by the sacrifice Christ made (2 Peter 3:9).
In order to receive the salvation that God offers we must be faithful and obedient to that
which he asks of us (Hebrews. 5:9). We believe that before we can be faithful to God we have to hear the things that He says in his word (Romans 10:17).
We have to believe that God exists and that the things that are written in the Bible are true (Hebrews 11:6). We believe that we have to turn away from our sins and toward doing what is right, which is repenting (Acts 26:20). We cannot be silent about our belief in God, but must confess that we believe that Jesus truly is the son of God (Romans 10:10).
We believe that in order to be cleansed of your sins by the blood of Christ you Must be baptized into Christ (Mark 16:16). Moving forward one must continue being obedient to the things that God has commanded and sharing the good news about Christ (Rom 6:1-3, Matthew 28:19).
